It’s Soon to Be Christmas Somewhere

A relaxing Xmas Eve morning.

Coffee and a nice pulp thriller from John Lange, Michael Crichton’s long lost nineteen sixties and early seventies alter-ego. I’ve read Binary previously from this series, which was hair-raisingly good. Felt like a brief nod to Dirty Harry, while breaking off and creating its own new territory.

I haven’t had Christmas Eve off in ages and since my lovely ladybug will be working from home today, I’ve got plenty of time to plow through some writer to-dos that need to get done. Work has been grueling these past two months, but it has been wonderful to me over the years and I don’t take that for granted. It’s been an exhausting buildup to the holidays and year end agendas always prove to be enduring.

Looking forward to moving forward with a recent poetry collection submission, finishing up some novel projects on my own, and putting more time into my podcast once we get through these merry festivus holidays.

I hope that you’re able to take it easy this week and enjoy some family time, while enjoying just enough food and cookies to not make you have to worry about a tightening waist band.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
